Today was great weather and sea conditions to be out on the water with the sun shining brightly.
The Hinchinbrook Explorer on the 10am cruise came across migrating whales only with Common Dolphins and Seals. The 1.30pm cruise had a better display with a double breach only once however you have to take what you can with these wild mammals.
Our 11am cruise on the MV Spirit encountered a large pod of about 5 Humpback Whales close to the vessel with lots sighted in the distance. The whales were head lunging, tail slapping and much more which looked like there was a competition between each other.
