We were definitely able to feel the cold this morning, but the sun was shining and we were ready to test our luck in seeing whales. And oh my we were definitely lucky! Heading straight out through the heads we were greeted with multiple pods. We followed the pods from Tomaree while they provided a wonderful performance. The performance involved breaching, tail lobs and tail wags, with a small pod of common dolphins right next to the whales leaping out of the water.
The afternoon cruise was even better than the morning and the crew couldn’t contain their excitement. They had a teenage humpback constantly breaching just off Fingal head land, text to office read “Man this whale believes he can fly”
