Today we ventured out past the headlands with the sun shining. There were several pairs of whales spotted but unfortunately there was not a lot of surface time. One juvenile came close to the boat with two to three minute dives. On our adventure this morning we also saw a massive pod of common dolphins as well as the bottle nose dolphins. This afternoon we had the same results as this morning with several whales around who weren’t having great surface time. Although there were no common dolphins spotted on the afternoon trip there were plenty of bottle nose dolphins to be seen. Overall it was a wonderful day on the water.
