We love sunny Saturdays, and we love spending cruising the waters of Port Stephens looking for Humpback Whales.
Passengers aboard our 10am whale watch cruise on the Hinchinbrook Explorer have traveled out to waters of a depth of 40 meters and spotted a lone Humpback Whale heading southbound. The whale has been spending 2 to 6 minutes beneath the surface of the water on each sounding dives. But the moment of the morning has been a pod of Common Dolphins interacting and swimming with the Humpback Whale.
We did spot 2 whales on our 1.30pm cruise though they were taking deep dives and only wanted to come up and say hi 3 or 4 times.
