Whales for everyone! Passengers on both our morning Dolphin Discovery Cruise and Whale Watch Cruises have been extremely lucky to view a Humpback Mother and her calf at the entrance to the harbour at Shoal Bay.

Mum and bub were spending a lot of time on the surface of the water, giving the impression that the calf is quite young and the mother is frequently assisting the calf to surface of the water to breath.

Passengers onboard the Hinchinbrook Explorer have also visited the seals at Cabbage Tree Island and caught up with a pod of local Port Stephens Bottlenose Dolphins at the Yaccabah Headland on our way back to the dock.

During our afternoon whale watch cruise we have caught up with the same mother and calf Humpback Whales that we saw this morning, this time closer to Fingal Island. The pair of whales were swimming in circles and spending a lot of time on the surface of the water.
