For our passengers onboard the morning whale watch cruise aboard the Hinchinbrook Explorer, it may have appeared like they were part of a game of hide and seek with the whales. As we have cruised off shore the crew have reported a number of whale blows here and there, but unfortunately the whales have been a little hard to track their movements.

Meanwhile our 11am whale watch cruise aboard the MV Spirit was joined by a few of the local Port Stephens Bottlenose Dolphins as they made their way out the heads at Shoal Bay. We have spent time with a Humpback mother and her calf just outside the heads, we have then moved onto a second pair of mum and calf close to Cabbage Tree Island. The little calf was showing off its new skills and breaching.
