The crew of the Hinchinbrook Explorer have spotted a pod of three Humpback Whales due east of Mt Tomaree. The pod of whales have been happily swimming in a northerly direction, with the odd tail slap by one of the whales just to show how powerful the Humpback Whale is as its tail hits the surface of the water. Before heading back to the dock we have visited the seal on Cabbage Tree Island
