10th October 2020

We have started our day with a beautiful Humpback Whale mum and her calf that have come into the harbour and have been seen close to Shoal Bay, at one point a pod of Bottlenose Dolphins have approached the whales and started interacting with them. The pair of whales seemed quite happy exploring the Bay and were seen to be cruising into the middle of bay in a westerly direction.

All of our morning whale watch cruises have spent time with the two whales in the harbour before venturing off shore. We have seen a pod Common Dolphins off shore that were feeding, jumping and leaping out of the water with lots of activities. Even thought the days are getting warmer the seals are still residing on the rocks at Cabbage Tree Island.
