They say never work with children or animals—and today, the animal factor certainly came into play!
Despite the very best efforts of our experienced crew, the whales proved especially elusive during today’s Whale Watch Cruises. Unfortunately, no whales were sighted, although our local dolphins made a welcome appearance and still provided passengers with a wonderful wildlife encounter.
While whale sightings are extremely common during the migration season, these magnificent animals are completely wild and free to travel wherever they choose. That unpredictability is part of what makes seeing them in their natural environment so special—but occasionally, they manage to outsmart even our most dedicated whale-spotting crew!
In accordance with our whale-sighting guarantee, all passengers aboard today’s cruises were issued a Standby Whale Watch Voucher. This gives them the opportunity to join us again for another Whale Watch Cruise within the next 12 months, subject to availability.
We thank everyone who joined us today for their patience, understanding and positive spirit. We look forward to welcoming you back aboard Moonshadow-TQC Cruises—and hopefully, next time, the whales will be ready to put on a show!
