Whale Sightings

Saturday delivered a beautifully summer-like day – and the humpback whales certainly made the most of it!

Guests aboard Envision, Aquamarine Adventures our 11am and 1:30pm whale-watching cruises were treated to an impressive display of aerial activity, with the whales showing off their acrobatic skills against the sparkling Port Stephens coastline.

The excitement continued during our 3:30pm cruise when two curious humpbacks approached the vessel for an unforgettable “mugging.” The pair circled the boat for almost half an hour while we drifted gently with the southerly current, giving everyone onboard an extraordinary opportunity to observe these magnificent animals up close.

Encounters like these are never guaranteed, which makes them even more special. Every cruise brings a new experience, and Saturday was certainly a day our passengers – and crew – will remember!
