A fantastic morning aboard MV Osprey! Our passengers were treated to an exciting whale watching adventure, with two separate pods of humpback whales located travelling steadily north along the coastline.
The whales provided plenty of action, with multiple tail slaps and spectacular breaches keeping everyone on board watching closely. Seeing these enormous animals launch themselves from the water and powerfully slap their tails against the surface made for some incredible viewing and fantastic photo opportunities.
As we made our way home, the wildlife encounters continued with a stop at Cabbage Tree Island, where we spotted several Australian fur seals resting around the island. These charismatic locals were the perfect addition to an already memorable day on the water.
