It’s been another spectacular day on the water with Moonshadow-TQC Cruises, filled with incredible encounters and plenty of action both morning and afternoon!
Our morning began just outside the Heads with three pods of Humpback Whales, including a mother and calf pair who came in beautifully close to the boat. The calf stole the show with some energetic baby breaches, while the mother could be heard vocalising nearby. To make the moment even more magical, Bottlenose Dolphins joined in, swimming playfully around the whales.
The excitement continued this afternoon with another mum and calf pair near Little Island, with the youngster showing off with more impressive breaches right beside the vessel. Later, a second mother and calf returned toward the harbour, both performing breaches in perfect harmony. Rounding out the day, passengers were treated to sightings of Bottlenose Dolphins and the resident seals around Cabbage Tree Island — the perfect Port Stephens trio!
It’s been a truly unforgettable day on the Humpback Highway — whales, dolphins, and seals all sharing the stage in the sparkling spring sunshine.
