Whale Sightings

Another day, another mugging! This morning we had another exciting experience of this time four humpbacks that decided to come right in nice and close to our boat and have a 35min session of human watching. We had spy hops, tail lobs and body rolls which had the passengers gasping in awe. After we’d spent some time with these whales and watching a few more in the distance all south bound, we decided to head on home and as we did we passed a mother and calf also heading south, although we didn’t have the time to stop for any longer than to just pass by.

As we were coming back in past Yacaaba Headland we saw a large pod of Bottle Nose Dolphins happily enjoying the calm waters and sunshine.
