Whale Sightings

Today’s Whale Watch Cruise was one to remember! Halfway to Broughton Island, we encountered two magnificent Humpback Whales cruising along the coastline when suddenly, a massive pod of Bottlenose Dolphins joined in on the action — hundreds of them darting, diving and leaping around the whales. The energy on the water was incredible as another Humpback Whale soon joined the group, creating a spectacular three-whale encounter surrounded by playful dolphins.

On our way home, we stopped by Cabbage Tree Island, where three Australian Fur Seals were resting on the rocks, soaking up the sunshine.

It was a truly magical Port Stephens day — whales, dolphins and seals all in one unforgettable cruise!
