Whale Sightings

It was a relaxed kind of morning for the two Humpback Whales spotted during our morning whale watch cruise aboard MV Osprey. Located about 75 metres off shore from Boat Harbour, both whales were quite content continuing their journey north bound. We have followed along at the same pace as the whales with reports from the crew that the whales came in close to the vessel at times. As we left the pair and started our way through the headland at Shoal Bay we have seen a pod of Bottlenose Dolphins at the Yaccaba headland.
