24 JULY 2024
Some beautiful conditions on the water today to get back out and enjoy our marine mammal friends. We started this mornings cruise off with an exciting heat run and lots of surface time by a pod of 5 whales making their way north. We spent the majority of our time with this pod as our passengers couldn’t take their eyes of the thrilling show that a competitive heat run brings.
As we made our way back we stopped off at Cabbage Tree Island where we found an adorable australian fur seal pup and a group of friends happily playing in the crystal clear waters.
This afternoon we located around five separate pods of whales all just cruising their way up north with a few tail dives here and there. And then coming back into the bay we found the same group of fur seals at Cabbage Tree Island and too many pods of Bottle Nose Dolphins for us to count!
