Double Breaches and Incredible Whale Action off Fingal Lighthouse!

What a morning! Our Whale Watch Cruise started with a Humpback mother and calf just inside the heads — they were taking long, deep dives, so after a little patience, we decided to continue our search.

Not far away near the Fingal Lighthouse, we struck gold — two Humpback Whales putting on an incredible display of breaching and double breaches! The sight of these giants launching themselves out of the water was absolutely breathtaking and had everyone on board in awe.

Conditions were a little rolly offshore today, but the whales more than made up for it with their energy and showmanship. We spent so much time enjoying their spectacular performance that there was no time to visit the seals — and no one seemed to mind!

Another unforgettable day on the water with these magnificent Humpbacks as the southern migration continues through Port Stephens.
