Whale Sightings

With the NSW July School Holidays coming to an end this weekend our whales are keeping up appearances.

Todays morning cruise passengers spent time with a lone whale on its northern migration on the humpback highway.  It wasn’t making much of an effort to make a splash, mainly spending time on the surface and taking deep long dives.  We decided that he must be conserving all his energy for ‘playtime’ in the warmer Queensland waters.  We then headed to Cabbage Tree Island to check on our ‘family’ of fur seals.  They never disappoint and love to show off their diving and swimming talents to our passengers.
