MOONSHADOW TQC CRUISES WHALE WATCHING PORT STEPHENS

This morning on our 10am Whale Watch as we made our way straight out of Tomaree Headlands we located 3x mothers and their calves who we cruised with for quite some time. Two mothers gave us a double breach which then seemed to encourage the calves to all start breaching! Some passengers were saying it was like watching a tennis match with one calf breaching, then passing it to the next calf to have their turn and so on. This went back and forth for a while as they all gave us a great amount of surface time. They then began to come closer to us, less than 100m so our engines were turned off, as they came in nice and close to check out what we were all about.

A small pod of Bottlenose Dolphins were seen feeding at Yaccaba Headlands also which topped off a great cruise.
