Afternoon Action on the Humpback Highway!

After a slow and relaxed morning out on the water, the afternoon cruise delivered a complete turnaround — and what an incredible one it was!

Three separate pods of Humpback Whales kept everyone captivated for more than an hour with spectacular breaching displays. The energy out there was electric — tail lobs, pec slaps, and a curious calf that even treated us to a quick mugging right beside the boat!

Adding to the thrill, a huge pod of Offshore Common Dolphins, well over a hundred strong, joined the fun — darting around the vessel, surfing the bow wave, and showing off with acrobatic leaps and flips in every direction.

To top off the afternoon, we cruised past Cabbage Tree Island, where a number of seals were soaking up the sunshine on the rocks — the perfect finale to an unforgettable cruise.

It just goes to show, every cruise is different, and nature always finds a way to surprise us here in Port Stephens.
