What a great week we’ve had with our whale sightings from Monday right through to Saturday. We’ve seen some whales starting on their southern migration, some still heading north, and still showing us all their magical tricks of double breaches, body rolling, tail slapping, and all the muggings!
Saturday had our crew and passengers in awe with 2-3 pods headed on their southbound journey. They were mugged, and our crew weren’t unhappy about it! 3x whales spy hopped, body rolled and tail slapped as our passengers at the bow of the boat even caught the remnants of a whale’s blow hole (this is when a whale will forcefully expel air and sea water from its blow hole) and gave everyone a laugh.
