Whale Sightings

Both of our cruises today had success sighting the whales heading north.  The morning cruise had three pods of Humpback Whales swimming close by at Cabbage Tree Island with a few breaching in the distance.  Lots of Common Dolphins joined the MV Osprey on the way back into the bay through the heads.  The afternoon cruise arrived just outside the headlands and discovered a mother and calf cruising by.  At Cabbage Tree Island six seals were lazing around and the MV Osprey sighted another whale breach in the distance so they raced back over to a heat run which included endless breaches.
