Today aboard the Hinchinbrook Explorer on the morning cruise, the whales made the crew and passengers work hard to find them.  They must have been sleepy as they were not up to much and travelling north then east.  Of course on cue when the vessel decided to depart the whales woke up and wanted to engage with more surface time.  Not wanting to miss the opportunity the cruise stayed longer than planned to see what unfolded.

The Common Dolphins were the stars of the show offshore with lots of playful jumping.
