The temperature dropping, and the need to rug up against the chilly air is a sure sign that winter is on its way. Its time to grab the beanie, scarf and a jacket to head out whale watching a Port Stephens as being outside on the deck is the prime position to view the whales.
The crew have reported seeing a few pods of whales off shore during our morning cruise aboard the Hinchinbrook Explorer, although it appears these whales were a little bit shy and as the vessel has approached the whales have disappeared beneath the surface of the water.
